The Networker newsletter was named in recognition of our Center’s founding in 1978, when an informal group of women came together to “network” and address issues of abuse that were too often ignored. What began as grassroots conversations quickly grew into a community-wide movement, leading to the creation of a safe place for survivors and their families.

Since then, The Networker has been published without interruption, serving as a vital connection between our Center and the community. Each issue not only highlights our programs and services but also shares stories of resilience, raises awareness about the realities of abuse, and inspires readers to take part in creating a safer, more compassionate future.
