Children's Counselor
Hays-Caldwell Women's Center is looking for a F/T Children's Counselor to work with children exposed to family violence. Must have knowledge and understanding of child abuse and family violence issues, training and/or experience in Play Therapy, and one year of experience working with children, including facilitating children's groups. Must be able to work two evenings a week, if needed. Must have a Master's degree in counseling or social work (or a related field). LPC-I, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred, but not required. Salary for this position is $29,900 (with an additional $500 if bilingual and $500 with licensure). The salary is grant funded and therefore not negotiable. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Data Coordinator
Hays-Caldwell Women's Center in San Marcos seeks a detail-oriented person with advanced clerical and computer skills to be responsible for data entry and administrative duties such as generating, merging, proofing and sending detailed reports to multiple funders with inflexible deadlines and thank you letters to donors. This is a position requiring exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.

Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate for this position will have: Experience with Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, etc. Experience with Donor Perfect or other donation tracking software is not required, but beneficial. Experience with word processing procedures such as Mail Merging from a database generated list into a Microsoft Office document. Will be self-motivated, results oriented and maintain high moral and ethical standards.

This is a full-time non-exempt position. The starting salary for this position is $29,400. Compensation will be added to the salary for applicants who are bilingual (English/Spanish) ($500/year) and/or have an applicable Master's Degree ($500/year). Telecommuting is NOT available for this position. Office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday and the office is located in San Marcos, TX.
