#Be the Change
Hays County Sherriff’s Office and local High School Football Team up to end relationship violence
We are in our fifth year of partnering with Hays County law enforcement and football teams to raise awareness of relationship violence. Beginning with a joint press conference hosted by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office on October 2, 2017 and continuing through out October at area football games where players will wear purple ribbons on their helmets and information regarding relationship violence will be made available to the crowd, our goal is to spread the word and increase male involvement in the hopes of eliminating intimate partner violence in our communities.
Come out to support local football. We’ll be there sporting purple and sharing information on healthy relationships.
