Shower of Giving
April 7 – Wear Blue Day. Wear BLUE as a way to show your support for children in our community. Wear Blue Day is a national day of awareness around the issue of child abuse. Tell your friends and neighbors to wear blue Friday, April 7!
April 8 – Caldwell County ‘Shower of Giving’. The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office is hosting the ‘Shower of Giving’ – a donation drive in honor of National Crime Victims’ Week and Child Abuse Awareness Month. Join us from 1-3 pm at Connections in Lockhart.

April 17 – Quiz for a Cause 7-?
Hosted by Geeks Who Drink, “Quiz for a Cause” gives you and your trivia team the opportunity to give back to your community while answering some tough trivia! There is a $5 fee to play the quiz, and the winning team will get a portion of all the money collected, while the rest will go to help HCWC provide services to local victims of violence and abuse. So gather your friends, gather your thinking caps, and join us!

April 23 – Take Back the Night (TXST) Poetry Slam. Join us and Men Against Violence as we Take Back the Night and march from Old Main to the LBJ Amphitheatre. At LBJ, survivors and supporters will showcase poetry about sexual assault in an effort to end the stigma around the issue.
